Day 1:- Movie Review

As part of our Easter activities we took a small group to Loughborough cinema to see Ice Age 2. From the comments after and the popcorn spillage during the film a good time was had by all. Please read Liams review of the film to find out more.......

Liam's Review

Ice Age 2 is based on the story of global warming. The main character Manny finds the girl of his dreams. At the start she thinks she is a possum, but at the end Manny saves her, wins her heart and falls in love, happily ever after. It is a good film and I would recommend it to all people from 7-15. Day 2:- Gaming

Easter Egg Hunt

In the afternoon when everyone got back from lunch we had hidden small chocolate eggs for them to find. This went well and everyone had fun looking for the eggs.
The next day the eggs were still being found.

Day 3:-Megazone

A day trip to Megazone in Leicester where the group enjoyed three fun and tiring games with fierce competition from another group.

We had a wicked time at lazer quest. Me and my mate always worked as a team and she won a medal for coming first in the last game which was every man for himself.

Day 4 & 5:-Music Creation with SEND

Two fun (and quite noisy) days working with the SEND music project from Nottingham. Participants were able to try their hands at Scratching, mixing, beatboxing, MCing and creating / recording their own tracks. The second day we were joined by Drum ‘n Bass MC, MC Spyda who inspired the group to create some great music and lyrics. Congratulations to Liam and Sam for their efforts even if at times the mic can be very intimidating. A special congratulations goes out to Jordan who beat his fear of the mic and then beat MC Spyda in an MC battle!
